This mother and daughter photograph required adjustment of the contrast to bring it to life. The scratches and creases were removed as were the “ears” (people walking behind) the hat of the lady on the right.
Restoration/retouching work is not confined to damaged prints. This example is from a 35mm transparancy taken in the late 1950s. Colour adjustment and removal of small green spots were the main requirements here.
